In this day and age, who hasn't heard about The Biggest Loser Show. This show has really taken the weight loss World by storm. There are many countries now that have their own version of The Biggest Loser.

Nearly everyone has now heard about the hit reality show on NBC called The Biggest Loser. This show has really taken the weight loss World by storm. There are many countries now that have their own version of The Biggest Loser.
In a nutshell, the show is about a group of overweight people that are divided into two teams when the reach a remote weight loss Ranch somewhere. Each Team has a trainer. During the next 12 weeks, the show covers how they eat, how they work out and shows their weekly weight loss.
Not a lot of people believed that the Contestants lost as much weight as they did in Season One. After Season two where they had a guy lose over 100 pounds in 12 weeks, people started to take notice. This about the time many people started to get onto The Biggest Loser band wagon and some haven't left!
I've watched this show ever since it came on and I've learned a lot about losing weight and becoming healthy. Not only that, I've stuck to a routine very similar to the one on The Biggest Loser Show and I have lost over 60 pounds, from home and without a trainer!
One of the most useful weight loss tips I picked up from The Biggest Loser show is to drink lots and lots of water. Once I started adding this to my own diet, I started seeing some good results. Water makes you feel full, washes toxic waste from the body, increases metabolism and makes your skin appear healthy.
Tips number two that I picked up from The Biggest Loser Show was to stop eating two or three big meals a day and start eating smaller meals more often through the day to keep my metabolism fueled. This also helped me to keep from feeling groggy after huge meals. Eating smaller meals more often keeps your metabolism operating at a higher range, thus burning more calories.
I learned that keeping a food diary is important. I wouldn't have thought this one little thing would have accounted for so much of the weight I loss, but it has. A food diary has show me where I was going off track with my diet and also when I should have eaten some high calorie food. A food diary should be in your weight loss regime and don't leave home without it.
Extend your fat burning portion of your workout. Most of us know that our bodies will get into a fat burning mode during cardio exercises. The problem is that most of us don't do enough cardio or don't do them properly for fat loss. The Biggest Loser Show taught me how to do it right and maximize my fat burning efforts.
