It is hard to lose tummy fat on it's own. Many people try to target weight loss in just one area of the body, for example the upper arms, the thighs and the tummy but doing exercises that just target these areas doesn't reduce the fat in these areas specifically. Really it is down to losing all over body fat, doing hundreds of sit ups will help you tone your muscles but you won't be able to see those muscles because of the layer of fat lying over them. The main thing to do is raise your heart rate and burn calories to reduce your overall fat this will reduce the fat on your tummy. I personally don't like exercise but I have now started walking to the shops instead of driving and that helps to keep the weight off. I try to walk at a fast pace to raise my heart beat and keep my tummy tight at the same time. The area around the tummy is a hard area to lose fat in but if you persist with your healthy eating plan and try to walk places instead of driving you will get there. Here are some exercises to help you tone up and lose tummy fat, if you like to exercise... Lose Tummy Fat - pelvic tilt (Click on image to view this exercise...)
