One of the main things that people complain of when they gain weight is the love handles that seem to hang on no matter what they do. Slimming down seems like such a task when you try to get rid of the love handles while you slim the rest of your body down. People will try such exercises as sit ups and crunches to help them get rid of these troublesome spots but in the end they find that these really do not work.
Love handles are actually fat pockets so the way you get rid of them has to be handled differently then how you handle losing weight. One of the best ways to handle these pesky pockets is to attack them with cardio exercise. Sometimes loosing just a few more pounds with a good cardio routine will make the world of difference in your ability to lose love handles.
There are some people that believe that you can shape your body with weights but you need to keep in mind that the fat pockets around your waist will not mold as easy as your muscle will. One thing that you need to do to help your body shed those few extra pounds is to drink plenty of water. Your body needs to have at lease 8 to 10, ten ounce glasses of water per day. This helps to keep your body performing as it should, flushing out unwanted toxins as well as helping to keep off any water retention.
 So What Can you do to Lose Love Handles forever? In order to loose weight around the mid section you will need to work your body up to an elevated heart rate. You would need to keep up the raised heart rate for at least 30 minutes in order for you to get the full benefits of the work out. You can do this type of cardio exercise right in your own home or you can look to see what classes are in your area. Sometimes people find more strength when they have others to work out with, rather then trying to do it on their own.
If you feel like you are suffering with those unwanted love handles then you will need to work a bit harder to get rid of them . You will need to watch what you eat as well as learn to incorporate a cardio workout into your routine. Be sure to work on your eating habits so you are eating healthy foods. You want to be sure to try and stay away from salty foods, (food high in sodium content) as they can make your body retain water. You will also want to be sure that you get enough sleep each night as your body can give you trouble in the weight loss department if you are not taking care of it. It is time to get rid of those love handles and keep them away for good.
